California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Reentry Services Planning Grant

The Santa Cruz Parole Reentry Steering Committee was formed to assess and address the needs of parolees returning to our community from state prison. This committee has been funded by an Intergovernmental Partnership Grant from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to the Santa Cruz County Alcohol and Drug Program (ADP).  Ceres Policy Reseach designed a mixed-method needs study that consisted of surveys and focus group data to determine parolee’s needs. The assessment took place from February to October 2007. The final report was completed in December of 2007.
