The Oakland Museum of California, in collaboration with the Spanish Speakers Citizen's Foundation Youth and Family Services, the Puente Project, and its Hayward High School Puente Project designed the Latino History Project: A Pilot Youth Program for Collecting Community History (LHP). The LHP was designed to improve Latino students' historical research skills, increase students' knowledge of Latino history, and strengthen students' ties to the Latino community. Ceres Policy Research combined interviews with participants and content analysis of questionnaires and journals to evaluate this program. The final report was completed in April 2003.
