The Dope Show is a program created in 1995 to teach students about alcohol and other drugs. The participants of this program are primarily middle school, junior high, and high school students. The show is usually presented in health classes and at school assemblies. First-time drug and/or alcohol offenders have also been required to attend the Dope Show by their school or by the court. The goal of this program is to effect behavioral and attitudinal change, reducing or eliminating the participants' use of drugs and alcohol.
Ceres Policy Research worked with the Dope Show to develop a survey instrument to measure youth outcomes.
