California Department of Health, Tobacco Control Section, Grant Application

Ceres Policy Research helped Breathe California of the Central Coast complete a scope of work for a grant to develop second-hand smoke reduction and tobacco cessation programs for the Latino community in Monterey County.

California Department of Health, Tobacco Control Section, Latino/Hispanic Community Health Action Mapping Project Grant

Breathe California has been funded for two years to reduce second-hand smoke in the Salinas Valley by encouraging business owners to adopt smoke-free doorway policies.  Breathe California is also training Salinas Valley health clinics to screen low-income Latino patients for smoking.  Ceres Policy Research is providing program evaluation for this project.
