Elkins Task Force

Ceres Policy Research was hired by the Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC), "Elkins Task Force" to explore concerns about equal access to resources and fairness within the family courts. Ceres Policy Research conducted a total of 20 focus groups with litigants, court staff, family court attorneys, and judges in six different counties to establish gaps in services. The focus groups took place from September 2008 through February 2009.

CASA Needs Assessment in California

Ceres Policy Research was hired by the Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC), which manages the Judicial Council's CASA Grant Program. Ceres Policy Research worked with CFCC to complete a needs assessment for the CASA program in California. Ceres Policy Research helped design a mixed-method needs study that consisted of survey data and focus groups completed in a series of different counties in California. The assessment took place from August 2007 through October 2007.
